Hi there, I'm Sheena!
Welcome to The Anchored Christian. I am a proud graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health counseling. In September of 2024, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate allowing me to begin practicing in the State of Texas under Supervision by Monica McClain LCDC, LPC-S.
My calling to inner healing work can be summed up in the Messianic prophecy found in Isaiah 61:1-3, which says: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners; To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
In partnership with Jesus, I specialize in helping individuals and couples ages 18 and up who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and trauma, both simple and complex.
