WEEKS 1 & 2: COMPATIBILITY
You will each gain an understanding of your personality types, communication styles, and conflict resolution habits. You'll begin to see how each of these things can make or break a union.
WEEKS 3 & 4: VALUES, BELIEFS, AND EXPECTATIONS
Our family of origin plays a unique role in how we see life and what we value. We will deep dive into where you both stand on issues related to sex, money, & children and make sure you are onthe same page with these deeply significant issues.
WEEKS 5 & 6: THE 5 LOVE LANGUAGES
How do show and want to be shown that you are valued and loved? Each one of us has a different style of communicating love to our partner. We'll find out if your styles are the same, if they are different, and how to adjust your style to meet your mate's need for love.
WEEKS 7 & 8: LOVE AND RESPECT
The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 5:33 "So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband." Ever wonder why he gave each a distinct command? We will discuss the answer to that question and learn how Love & Respect create a cycle that meets our needs in marriage.
WEEKS 9 & 10: PREDICTORS OF DIVORCE
If these 4 toxic traits exist and persist in your marriage, you will likely be on your way to divorce. Avoiding these will create an environment of acceptance and safety that you can thrive in as a couple.
WEEKS 11 & 12: AVOIDING INFIDELITY
Using the first married couple as our case study, I will teach you how to safeguard your marriage from infidelity. The first step will be to recognize that we are ALL CAPABLE of it if we are not vigilant.
