that is especially designed with you in mind, where you feel safe, can meet a small new group of people, laugh, eat, and be social for a few hours.

IMAGINE A SOCIAL GATHERING...

where the pressure to start a conversation is GONE, but you still get to make new friends who have something in common with you.

DIVERSE-CITY SOCIAL was birthed out of the desire to meet the need that my own neurodiverse children and clients have; to make meaningful social connections.

However, when you have a Neurodiversity, that is much easier said than done.

With the help of Elizabeth Morrison, LPC, this monthly gathering has been crafted to meet this very important need for individuals with a Neurodiversity between the ages of 15 to 29 years old.

When you arrive at the Social, you will have an opportunity to sit with a small number of people, engage in guided activities, start conversations with the help of a conversation prompt, play games, and enjoy light snacks.

During the two hour social event, you'll be able to connect with others who very likely have some things in common with you. And if you so choose, you may share your contact information with your new friends.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

*Individuals must be verbal, capable of self management, and displaying appropriate behavior in a group setting.

*Minors must have a parent/guardian on-site at all times or be accompanied by another participant.

*Diverse-city socials is not a dating service. Think of it as a friending service.
